The Nurseryman
You’ve probably driven past this pub on the crossroads at Beeston on the A52 towards Derby.
We went on a Monday lunchtime during a heatwave and sat out on the terrace. There’s quite a few outdoor tables and a fenced off children’s play area with some seating too.
The menu is good classic pub dishes and it’s reasonable. It’s a Greene King pub but one of their Eating Inn branches so a bit more traditional than the Hungry Horse branches.
I didn’t order from the kids menu as me and Arthur shared a salad and sweet potato fries, but it was well varied with some healthy options, the highchairs were the wooden box style, Arthur’s still a bit small for these but he managed to reach his plate on the table o.k.
Room for pushchair: Yeah, it’s really big.
Baby Changing: Yes
