A lovely old Castle Rock pub on Trent Bridge – it was one of the orignal Boot shops and has been done up really nice.
It’s split into two bits ‘The Dispensary’ has craft beers on and you can’t take kids (or dogs) in there. Essentially though it’s all the same pub with the same beer and food menu (the tapas are always a good shout) and they’ve got a great outside terrace for sunny days.
Again, it’s around the sports grounds of the city so gets really busy on match days but we tend to go in the week day evenings when it’s nice and quiet.
It’s really nice and spacious and most of the time we can go in the side room almost on our own so we don’t feel bad is Arthur makes a noise. I know in a previous life a baby crying in a pub on a Monday night would have really got on my nerves!
Room for pushchairs: yeah, loads
Baby changing: yes
