The Crimson Tree

My brother’s recently moved to Sherwood and he’s been banging on about this lovely little cafe bar since he started viewing houses round there.. Arthur took his Auntie and Uncle for lunch on a dreary January Tuesday afternoon.

The place was nicely busy and we waited a short time for a table but the staff couldn’t do enough to get us a table quickly even though we kept telling them we weren’t in a rush!

My sister went for the soup of the day which was served in a cute cup and my brother had a sandwich while I pigged out on a chicken and chorizo burger (still using the excuse of using extra calories breastfeeding).

The service was quick, friendly and warm and they were very accommodating with Arthur and his giant pushchair even though he slept through the whole outing.

They make all their bread and cakes on site and the glass display case was far too effective in making us get a slice of cake to take away (still breastfeeding…).

The award for the best toilets easily goes to these guys – check out the awesome wallpaper in the pictures.

Baby changing: yes

Room for pushchair: A bit tight but they were very accommodating and made sure we got an appropriate table really quickly
