Recently voted the best fish and chips in the country, we went along to the Sherwood branch on a Monday lunchtime for my Nana's birthday.
They don't take bookings but they found us a table for 10 no problem. The food was good, the menu very varied and it's all sustainable and traceable which is great, although veggies be warned the chips care fried in beef fat. There were some whole fresh fish on ice too that we showed Arthur (or tiddler as he calls fish) which I really liked.
Arthur had cod fish fingers and chips which was served in a cute bucket and spade - sorry about the poor photo, he couldn't wait to dig in!
Highchairs and baby changing both available, kids menu priced around £5.50
