Nottingham Racecourse
We love a trip to the races – especially when it’s free to Nottingham residents as it was earlier in the week. It’s definitely worth keeping an eye out for these freebies because they’re a really good evening out.
Under 18s are always free and welcome. You get to Colwick on a bus from the city centre or there’s lots of parking. There was plenty of food choices ranging from hog roast and pasties to fish & chips and sandwiches. Me and Arthur shared a sausage and chip tea as a special treat.
Nottingham is a really spacious course and set in such beautiful surroundings, all you can see on the horizon is trees all the way around. A really nice place for a summer evening of racing with the family.
Baby changing: Yes, but only in the women’s toilets
Room for pushchair: Loads of room everywhere
